Welcome to Philosophy Portal

Our goal can be summed up in one sentence:

Develop a deep knowledge of philosophy and connect it to your own journey

To serve this objective, our work ethic is articulated around 4 pillars

Providing for extended and comprehensive courses

Our courses last from 4 to 6 months. We want to dissect in depth the thinking of the greatest minds and in the context of the totality of their body of work.

We prioritize analysis and discussion of the writings of great philosophers on a time scale allowing you to develop your own capacity for bringing new thought to our cultural foundations.

Connect philosophical knowledge to your personal life

We want the power of philosophy to run more through your existence. The teachings must be connected to your personal life and insightful for your daily life.

Building thinking tools, as much as challenging and stimulating ideas, helping you find your voice and construct your intellectual identity, creating a significant transformation in your relationship to the self.

A personal philosophical guidance

We foster strong personal relationships with our students. Online teaching can sometimes dismiss the human connection, and that is a mistake we want to avoid.

If guidance is what you seek, Cadell will personally assist you in your transition and your questions: it is always about your personal journey and creative expression of self, which is the answer we want to find at the end of a process opening a new beginning.

Being part of a community

Being a part of a course is a portal towards a new adventure. Our students are not passive during the learning process because we want each course to be a creative experience for you.

In each course, there are writing and presenting opportunities:

  • Present in conferences:

Represent a chance for you to develop your own speaking skills and interpretations of the author, inspired by working through the course materials.  We offer an opportunity to contribute an informed perspective within the cultural foundations of philosophy.

  • Co-author books:

Offer a path towards expressing your own philosophical vision in a collective book.  We encourage you to make your abstract ideas more concrete in relation to an intellectual tribe committed to a higher order discourse.

  • Participate in retreats:

The virtual opens us to the whole world, but we also need to locate ourselves physically to open deeper connections.  We select beautiful spaces, and cultivate daily rituals, where we can celebrate philosophy in more informal conversations that are best shared in person.
