XAGICK (w/ Layman Pascal and Owen Cox)

In this discussion, Layman Pascal introduces us to his concept of magic, its importance for contemporary wisdom conversations which are largely oriented by cognitive science and Christian mysticism, which leaves out an entire “wisdom continent” related to the real of the subject’s desire and negative affect. Pascal emphasises that magick is not just a low grade form of spirituality, but a real psycho-technology and a skill set for non-linear understandings for those individuals who are particularly interested in the unknown, the unknown as such (the “X” of Xagick). He points out that this subset of individuals can be referred to as the shamanoid class that is important for community dynamics but often hidden and obscured by common discourse.
