THE ANGLE TO HAPPINESS (w/ Jon Echanove)

In this conversation, I discuss with author Jon Echanove his new book, The Angle to Happiness. Echanove is an economist, psychotherapist, coach and trainer, and his writing aims to show the depth of the process of change where ordinary people face novelty, loss, and creation. In The Angle of Happiness, Echanove writes about what it takes to overcome our past and being lucky enough to find a different way of looking at life in order to achieve happiness. We use the content of his book to explore the experience of starting from zero, rebuilding your self in a context other than your childhood background, learning about your self through another culture and language, reconciling yourself with past family traumas, the power and the struggles of parent-child relationships, and the struggles to feel seen in sexual relationships and ultimately finding love.
