PATIPOLITICS (w/ Isabel Millar)

In this seminar by Dr. Isabel Millar we get an explication of the concept of the patipolitical as a notion which transcends Foucault’s bio-politics as well as the concept of necro-politics, i.e. the politics of life and death, for a politics of the undead drive. Millar suggests that we are entering the Patipolitical century which opens us to questions of seduction, obscenity, and the eradication of any sense of a private life, where we are always under threat of perpetual capture (like people living in a state of constant war).
