METAL ANALYSIS (w/ David Burke)

Doctoral candidate David Burke and I discuss his work at the intersection of psychoanalysis, philosophy, and its application to topics related to the history and culture of metal music. Throughout the conversation we analyse the politics of modern music culture in general, especially post World War II, and also use psychoanalytic concepts to theorise the nature of metal music and other modern genres.
